Freedom From Slavery Forum

The Anti-Modern Slavery Thought Leadership Gathering

The Freedom from Slavery Forum brings together thought leaders, survivors, innovators, advocates, researchers, civil society organizations, and policymakers to cast a vision, and develop actionable plans for achieving a world without modern slavery.

Each year Regional Forums convene in Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America and Europe, the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa to focus on aspects of modern slavery specific to each region. The regional forum events provide opportunities to explore regional challenges, learn about promising solutions, and foster the development of collaborative partnerships around their region.

The annual Global Forum convenes stakeholders from around the world to shape strategies for strengthening the anti-slavery movement and increasing its impact. The Global Forum utilizes the learning and collaborative momentum created at the Regional Forums to strengthen the collective resolve of the anti-modern slavery movement, inspire greater commitment and engagement from stakeholders, and catalyze the public will necessary to end modern slavery.

The 2022/23 forum series has concluded, and we are thrilled to share some exciting highlights from the six Regional Forums and our Global Forum. If you’re interested in diving deeper, you can access the reports and additional resources from the previous Forums under previous Forums in the menu.

The Freedom from Slavery Forums are a communal space wherein open and honest dialogue helps to backstop individual efforts through collective thinking and problem-solving.
